The James Bay Inn Pub, or as the locals like to call us the JBI Pub or simply the JBI, is nestled inside the historic James Bay Inn Hotel. The present day JBI Pub is newly renovated, well maintained & brings just as much comfort as the food & drinks we serve. From the moment you walk in there is a warm feeling of history, friendliness, community and relaxation. From our attentive servers and smiling bartenders to our visitors from around the world & the friendly locals, you will experience a piece of Victoria B.C's history and one of the best places in town to eat, drink & relax.

Eric has been managing the JBI Pub since 1911. On his own time you will find this free spirit riding one of his classic bikes, playing with his pet chickens or doing pushups on instagram.

Local Artist
We are very lucky to have local artist Alexander Cheshire as part of the JBI family since 2013. Alex not only is a father, server and all-round super guy, but he plays a big part in the decor in the JBI Pub. You can see his beautiful artwork on display at the back wall of our pub.
